Barnswood have been in touch.

 

I booked two buildings - so we are now going!

 

There are a number of rooms for male/female leaders, girl scouts and so on.

 

The cost will be £35 to cover the buildings, travel, food and anything else we need.  (There could be a refund depending on numbers and the quality/quantity of the food.  I do like to eat well  !!

 

Leaders will go at a reduced rate. - maybe to cover food costs - let me know what you think.

 

More details will be sent to you as I create them.

 

There will be a programme, maps, and so on later.

 

Leaders must use the standard form for trips - I will send that out a.s.a.p. with the basic details filled in as far as possible.  Later tonight.

 

There are two kitchens with cooker, fridge, microwave and so on.  But they do not have cooking pots and kitchen spoons and so on - I will ask Cuddington and Sandiway about these, unless someone else wants to help out.

 

I will modify an old list of quantities for a weekend menu - is there a group that wants to do the catering?

 

I now need 6 activities for the 6 made up patrols to do... .

 

Each must last just under two hours, two on Sat am, two Sat pm, two Sun am, with breaks for drinks and changeover included.

 

Friday night could be a walk to Rudyard. But only if there are enough permit holders between us -(please sort this out if you are experienced enough)  See the leader who represented your troop at the last district meeting.  They know what to do...or email me.

PS I think I built the foundations to some of the buildings that I have just booked as a venture scout in the 1970s ... and they are still standing!....surprised?
