Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) 2007

The following text message has the details included in it...

With regard to JOTA ( Jamboree On The Air ) ......there will be a radio
station at the former Chester Oldfield scouts HQ, which is now the Cestrian
Scout Unit, the location of which is on the playing field in Thackeray Drive
Vicars Cross Chester.  Take the route to Chester via the A556, Kelsall
by-pass, Tarvin, to the Chester southerly by-pass (A55).Straight on over the
interchange to the traffic lights, turn right at the lights onto the by-pass
and then take the first turn on the left( Green Lane) then first left again
and you're there.

All are welcome, for as long or short a stay as you wish,  Mums and Dads
are also very welcome to stay with us, it will start on Friday afternoon,
and continue for 50 hours ( as it's the 50th JOTA )through Saturday and
Sunday.

Equally there will be another radio station with a technology base at this
venue, at the Warrington District Scout HQ in Vale Owen Road, Orford,
Warrington ( where the scout shop is ).  It  will be running from 9-30am
Saturday to 5pm, and 9-30am to 4pm Sunday.   Again all are welcome for as
long or short a stay as you wish.

Any further information can be obtained from myself regarding the Chester
event, and Graham Merrington regarding the Warrington station.  Please pass
on our contact details to anyone who may need to contact us.

Cheers for now.
