Mid-Cheshire District Chess Tournament

Date: Saturday 22nd November 2008

Start time: 1:30pm to about 4.00pm

Venue: Hartford Scout Hall

The Tournament will be open to all Scouts, each Scout will play a minimum of five games on the day.  The winners will receive trophies.

Basic rules (Full list will be mailed out nearer the time)

1. Each Player will play minimum of 5 games
2. Touch piece move piece
3. No Clocks will be used
4. 30 minute time limit on games
5. After 30 minutes value of pieces left on the board to decide winner
6. Cost of entry will be 50p (to cover cost of trophies)
7. Players must be in the Scout Section at time of event
8. Players to bring a packed lunch and drinks
9. Players to wear Scout Shirt (I will try to get the press to attend)
10. The Tournament Referee's decision is final in any dispute..

Details required are: Scout group, leader's email address, scout's name and date of birth
